[MPFSW005] Quiescent

By Si Fu

MPFS is proud to announce its 5th release “Sifu – Quiescent” on the sub label MPFS White. This fantastic little tech trancer comes with an array of awesome mixes, starting with the huge floor favourite Sonic Element Remix, a song so great its guaranteed to have every man and his dog dancing. Joining this epic monster we have the Sequentias Late At Night Remix, Dave Schiemann Remix and a Raneem Remix, all so beautiful and unique you’ll be wanting stuck for choice. We at MPFS are seriously excited about this release, so excited we’re actually wearing nappies after one or two minor accidents.

Jordan aka Sifu began his musical journey back in his infancy when his mother taught him to play the piano. After purchasing a Roland JX-305 he noticed how sounds were similar to what he’d heard on a Paul Oakenfold CD, with his musical know how under his belt it was natural to mimic the melodies & chords just by hearing a track.
In 1999 Sifu submitted a track under the Dj Ninja guise for a Texas based compilation CD inside of which were his contact details. Shortly after he received a phone call from Mikel Fair of 303infinity,
Mikel was so impressed with what he’d heard he dedicated his time and effort to getting the lad to team up with him. It didn’t take long for Sifu and Mikel to form a friendship and shortly after they began putting out tracks on mp3.com under the name 303infinity.
After a successful run on mp3.com, generating over 10 million downloads, “303infinity’s” debut CD release in 2001 entitled, “Dreamworld” sold over 48,000 CD’s worldwide. 303infinity hit number 1 on the mp3.com overall download charts with the hit “Winter Rain.” In 2000-2003, 303infinity toured the U.S. headlining at raves and concerts up and down the country.
After a long hiatus from music, Sifu began piecing together his studio to get back into production.
